I just say it was good luck for me to meet Robert Tennenbaum.
I spent the academic year 2006/07 in New York City to study music. Being obliged to hand in a paper telling that I was suffering from a wheat allergy (diagnose by a German homeopath) in order to be excluded from the school's meal plan I had my first appointment with Robert.
The whole session was like a therapy session. I remember the first meetings I have been so relieved afterwards that I cried. Only to be asked all those detailed questions about my person and my individual experiences put me in a situation to get kind of rid of my problems by talking. I started to observe myself more conciously: I was very nervous, hectic and often exceedingly depressed. School and private affairs were simply overwhelming for me.
After telling Robert that I have had mononucleosis he immedialtely had the last piece of the “puzzle”. The medication I had to take because of a resulting hypofunction of my thyroid obviously put my mind and body in a desperate condition. Robert gave me a remedy and after a couple of months I stopped taking the medication for my thyroid.
I have never felt better my whole life.
I am not nervous anymore – i.e. no twinkling of my eyes. If I have a problem of any kind I feel confident in solving it. Now, I am relaxed and able to enjoy my life and my work – playing and teaching music.
I do not exaggerate in naming Robert the best “doctor” I have ever met – simply because he is not fixed on any remedy or method, but to cure his patients individually with never ending patience and optimism.
