Brian (50 years old), chronic hives.

I had been suffering from chronic urticaria (hives)
for 6 months or so. I had a previous outbreak several
years before--for which I first sought allopathic
treatments, to no utterly avail (if there was any
efffect of the allopathy, it was negative--it actually
created dermatological problems due to
misdiagnosis....) and had then sought homeopathy which
provided the perfect cure.

With my recent outbreak, I first tried
acupuncture--which was marginally successful--but I
felt that the treatments were not deep enough, and not
getting to the root cause. Whether this was due to
the skill of the practioner or the method used, I
dont' know. I then decided that I should again find a
homeopath for diagnosis and treatment--however, as a
newcomer to NYC. I was unsure of who to call, and

qualifications, and settled on Robert Tennenbaum.

After an initial diagnostic appointment with
Robert--which I found to be akin to a deep,
psychotherapeutic session where my "essence" was
revealed through intense questionning--Robert settled
on a remedy. I took the remedy once--and immediately
thereafter felt a fundamental change in body
sensation, as if I had become more substantial and
weightier. I was almost taken aback by the feeling.
My dreams that night were revelatory, and about
creativity. For the month thereafter, my symptoms
began to gradually subside.
My hives would flare up, but with diminishing
intensity and frequency.

When I went for my followup with Robert a month later,
I was virtually symptom free--and curiously, the
biggest change was in my feeling state--a palpable,
corporeal, sense of creative vitality that I had
experienced in years past was awakened. These thoughts
and sensations appeared spontaneously--as if from left
field, like treasures that I had forgotten about.

Now, 2 months after the second visit, I no longer have
any hive problems. I feel my creative vitality
continues to grow, and have taken concrete steps (kind
of thrilling, but a bit scary!) to challenge myself in
my career (I am an academic at a univerity) and am
sought new opportunities which call upon skills and
passions that I had set aside...
