" About ten years ago (in my late 30's), I had developed a very bad case of eczema on my lower legs. I had no history of any similar illness, and no apparent (to me at the time) instigating cause. However, I WAS being subjected to alot of stress in my life...

I had lost my latest job (for the nth time), my creditors were hassling me, I was recently divorced, my mother was on my case for being a loser, my hair was starting to turn gray and fall out, my advances to prospective new lady-friends were entirely rejected... in other words, I thought the regular sorts of stresses fellows of my age are often subjected to.

Despite my circumstance, I had a mellow attitude about it all. I didn't feel that any of this was truly bothering me... My constant high level of good self-esteem seemed intact. On my conscious plane, my reality was familiar and stable... but the situation on the rear of my calves was regressively getting worse.

At first, I experienced an itch. This than regressed to a point where I received an unusual degree of deep pleasure by scratching my calves. This feeling would almost be like a new found first experience of orgasm... considering that I was around 38 at the time and I had never in my life experienced such a deep sensual sensation as this, I had a portentous feeling of bad things to come of it... and come they did.

Soon, my calves broke out in wide areas of raw sensitive patches (not, to be noted, from my scratching). These areas were scaly on the surface, but moist just beneath. From my previous introductory studies of holistic medicine, particularly homeopathy, I was familiar with the concept of Herring's Law of Cure. It made a tremendously favorable impression on me while studying it on my own. After suffering with this ailment for about 6 months (with no end in sight), I decided to look for professional help.
